We are "BOOTS ON THE GROUND"
for the winter months!

We are still reeling from the impact of COVID-19 on our lives, emotions, finances and practically everything that we do each day.

T-Town TNR has come back strong after the clinic closing in the spring, but financially is suffering a huge setback without the freedom to do in-person fundraising events.

Our trapping efforts have increased to an average of more than 150 catsper month since June, 2020. However, expenses are higher than ever before because of pandemic-related impact on our primary spay/neuter clinic.

Thank you for any financial support you can offer. A recurring donation helps us to plan accordingly and aids in the sustainability of our program,
helping us know that we can continue our life-saving work!

WHY TRAP IN THE WINTER?
In Tulsa, our winters are mild enough to allow us to continue trapping throughout the season. The elements can be hard on the trappers, but the cats fair quite well with proper trapping techniques and attentive recovery.  Doing Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) during this time is particularly
effective because the cats are more food driven, are fighting less with fewer injuries to treat at the time of surgery, and the colonies are cohesive without significant roaming for mating and nursing of kittens. Doing TNVR during this time of year directly impacts kitten season in the spring with fewer reproducing felines!

The 'clinic expense' is a monthly average per cat paid for spay/neuter/vaccinate at the clinics we utilize. It does not include any of the expenses explained above (illness, injury, etc.).
