T-Town TNR relies on volunteers! We are an ALL volunteer organization with no paid staff.
Whether it's listening to citizen request for help, trapping cats, or transporting them to and from clinic appointments, there's a need...
Doing TNR is rewarding, as you will find yourself working with others that are dedicated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives of cats and the communities that they are a part of, through spay/neuter/vaccinate/return.

We welcome volunteers wanting to work with us on our team. Here are just some of the activities directly related with the activity of Trapping and seeing to the vetting of cats:
- get to know the caregiver and assess the cats at the site,
- plan, communicate and coordinate TNVR efforts,
- transport supplies (traps, carriers, etc.) to where they need to be,
- bait and set traps, monitor for activity, and wait for cats to be trapped,
- transport cats in traps to surgery, then transport from surgery to overnight recovery,
- house and care for cats pre and post op (recovery) of their surgery,
- return and release cats to back their outdoor homes that they came from,
- perform record keeping of colonies and spay/neuters,
- clean and maintain traps/carriers/linens and other supplies, and
- perform fundraisers, seek donations and submit grants to obtain the necessary funds.
